Common Questions
Questions Families Often Ask
It's natural to have many questions when considering care for someone you love. Here are some of the things families ask most often.
How does the initial care assessment work?
We begin with a gentle conversation — either in person at our facility in Si Racha or over the phone — to learn about the senior's daily life, health background, and personal preferences. From there, our care coordinator prepares an individual care outline for the family to review. There is no commitment at this stage; it is simply about understanding what is needed.
Can family members visit at any time?
We welcome family visits warmly. Standard visiting hours run from 9:00 to 19:00 daily, and we can accommodate alternative arrangements when there are special circumstances. Keeping family bonds strong is an important part of each resident's wellbeing.
What happens if a resident's health needs change over time?
Care needs often evolve, and we are structured to move alongside them. A resident in our Full Residence program can transition into Specialized Nursing if their health changes — without the upheaval of moving facilities. Our care team monitors each resident's condition and communicates with families before making any adjustments.
Are dietary preferences and medical diets accommodated?
Yes. Our kitchen team works with residents' dietary requirements — whether related to health conditions, religious observance, or personal taste. In our Specialized Nursing program, meals are individually designed with input from visiting nutrition consultants.
What activities are available for residents?
Our activity program runs throughout the week and includes gentle physical exercise, craft workshops, music sessions, shared meals, and quiet garden time. Participation is always optional and paced according to each resident's energy and wishes. We also coordinate outings for residents who enjoy them.
How is communication with families handled?
Families receive monthly written summaries covering their loved one's health, activities, and mood. For Home Visit Care clients, brief notes are sent after each visit through a simple messaging system. Families are always free to call or visit, and our team is available to answer questions throughout the week.
